Last year, we started our new school year in the spring, and it's happening that way again. We just had about three weeks off between visits and sickness. And this week, we're starting a couple of new things, including using a Lenten devotional starting Wednesday, having a microscope and sea monkeys for science and we're getting our MathUSee curriculum this Spring. It's going to be a lot of fun. We're still struggling through The Writing Road to Reading, not because of the curriculum but because Hannah just hasn't had reading click for her yet.
It should be a great school year. I'm pretty excited about some of the things that I've seen happen this year, including Hannah actually sitting for instruction, writing her name with the letters in the proper order, as well as learning how to sign her name, incorporating some shows for geography and biology, and settling in to the fact that this is our life.
How are things going for your children?
