The Ultimate Who, What, When, Where and Why Book is how this children's book is subtitled and it truly is. The book is divided into clear chapters that address each of these questions in a way that is easy for the youngest Christian to understand. Scripture is used to answer the questions, but there are also two maps, a timeline and CD of 30 songs included for those learners that need something beyond just reading. Claudine Gevry beautifully illustrates the book. But I knew that this was going to be a wonderful book, when my five-year-old daughter kept picking it up and looking through the pages. She would ask me to read the titles from the pages to her. I never needed to force her to listen to readings of the book, she chose to hear from The Jesus Book. The other thing that I loved about the book is that I even learned something new while reading it. The last chapter is "How" and it has a prayer for new believers as well as addressing questions about where Jesus is now ...

John Rosemond proclaims that this book is a workshop in print form. I would agree with him. It is well thought out, easily understandable and challenging. When I first received the book, I thought that our daughter had very few behavioral problems, but the first and second chapters let me know that there were some annoying habits that Rosemond believes can be removed with proper interaction. He identifies several common behavior problems, including homework struggles, defiance, and sleep issues that can be removed from your life. I have tried this method for the past five days, after today, I'm not sold on all of the techniques Rosemond covers. I believe the Alpha speech and "Because I said so" are very helpful tools for our family. But as he states at the close of the novel, raising a child is not about a specific technique, it's about a relationship, not just with your children, but with God as well.
